EADR Participation in Gaming in Spain Conference

As part of ADR4EU Project Co-Founded by European Union

The Gaming in Spain Conference brought together professionals from across the Spanish gaming industry in Madrid on 15 October 2026.

Through conversations at the stand and during the whole conference, EADR raised awareness of Alternative Dispute Resolution services and discussed how Alternative Dispute Resolution can help consumers and businesses address disputes outside court. This engagement formed part of ADR4EU’s activities to strengthen awareness and accessibility of ADR services.

Why this matters for consumer protection

For gaming operators, understanding the role of ADR supports effective complaint handling and constructive engagement when disputes arise. Greater industry awareness can help embed accessible dispute resolution within business practices, including where complaints cross national borders.

Alignment with ADR4EU’s aims

EADR leads ADR4EU — Cross-Border Consumer Protection through ADR Innovation, an 18-month project co-funded by the European Union under the Single Market Programme.

Our participation supported the project’s focus on awareness and industry engagement. Introducing EADR to professionals in the Spanish market contributes to the wider effort to make ADR services more visible and accessible.

Alongside these activities, ADR4EU combines digital improvements to case handling, specialised staff training, analysis of consumer complaints and peer learning with another ADR entity. Together, these areas support the development of EADR’s capacity to handle disputes effectively.
